I know I’m really late for posting this review. You might have been watching it for 14th times already and you don’t care what other’s have been criticizing about it. So, I’m serving you my own version of review without any bias.
I am a big fan of the first movie, with staggering number of DVD playback nearly 20 times. I even remembered the signature quote of the movie such “what’s you’re about to see is top secret, do not tell everyone” to “are you eBay username ladiesman217??”. The fact is the first movie is almost perfect as it could be.
Later on, when the sequel is announced, everyone have a high expectations for it. They want it to be more kick-ass, more stunning and more robots. To me, I don’t even think the sequel would strike a perfect score considering that the first movie was almost perfect for me. To expect something’s beyond that was out of this galaxy.
So several people expressed their frustration for expecting too much. Please people, we’re living in the world. Go finds the real Cybertron if you’re expecting more out of this movie. Watch the first movie. Read more books. And find a way to become a movie director if you think the plot sucks.
For me, even though every single thing on the movie is exaggerated and uplifted from the first movie, the robots always fascinating me. I enjoy the fighting scene and the connection of the story. The way they develop the plot is to ensure they can be sustained for the next sequel. More robots, more fighting scene, more humour and more close-up fightings, Michael Bay have added everything to the movie. And as I said, there’s nothing more he can do to meet all the demands and expectations.

Eventhough according to Jetfire, The Primes is said to be consist of seven brothers, and The Fallen is one of them, the movie plot looks like to rewrite the earlier suggested story. It doesn’t seems so bothering considering every Transformers version had it’s own storyline.
As expected, the movie wouldn’t be that great from the eye of the critics, having worse rating than it’s predecessor. It’s not even close to win some Grammy awards or even nominated. Thanks to the lack of touching and memorable scene. Above all, all that I’m expecting from this movie are delivered. Robot Rumblesss!! And I’m not that kind of romantic person.. Romantic person, that’s not me *convincing face*.
